CBT Therapy for Teens
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-established treatment that focuses on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors. Our program equips teens with practical skills to manage stress, improve their mood, and overcome challenges in their daily lives. It is ideal for adolescents aged 13 to 17 who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and phobias.
Our CBT Therapy in Miami program is tailored to help adolescents understand and change the thought patterns that influence their behavior. This evidence-based approach is highly effective for teens experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.
The program is designed to fit within their school schedules, allowing them to continue their daily routines while receiving therapeutic support.
The CBT program operates from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with two daily group therapy sessions. Teens can choose to attend 3 or 5 days per week, based on their specific needs and the therapeutic goals set with their counselors. The typical duration of participation in the program ranges from 12-20 weeks, although this may vary depending on individual progress.
Each adolescent in our program receives a customized treatment plan tailored to address their unique needs and challenges. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with each teen to provide a blend of individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling. Family involvement is crucial, as it helps reinforce the skills learned in therapy and provides support during the treatment process.
Our CBT program fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where teens can share their experiences and learn from one another. Group therapy sessions allow them to practice new skills in a safe and understanding setting. Additionally, parents are offered support through dedicated groups and coaching calls, helping them assist their teens in applying the techniques learned in therapy.
