Admissions
It’s easy to get started with us.
Initial Call:
Our Admissions team will understand your teen's needs. We will provide valuable information to help you find the right teen mental health treatment. We will verify your insurance coverage and work with you to find a solution accommodating your financial situation.
Consultation:
Our Admissions team will meet you in our facility for a free consultation to give you a chance to know us and determine if AWA is the right fit for your family. We walk you through our intake process and help you understand what to expect.
Clinical Assessment:
In the program's first week, our clinical team will conduct a thorough assessment, tailoring the mental health treatment to your teen's needs. The assessments include biopsychosocial and mental health screenings. We'll diligently reach out to previous doctors, outpatient providers, counselors, schools, or anyone identified by the family as having an important role in their child’s ongoing success.
Programming:
Our clinical team will welcome your teen to the program and introduce them to the community. The program continues offering ongoing support and progress. You'll stay involved every step of the way, be invited to join our parent support group and participate in family therapy sessions.
Post-treatment plan and Aftercare:
Our clinical team will work with your teen and you to craft a comprehensive post-treatment plan, ensuring your family is well-prepared to transition beyond our program. After the program, you will remain an integral part of our alumni family and will be invited to events and parent support groups. We encourage your continued involvement for ongoing support and lasting community connection.
